Synopsis
When an ambitious young Mexican diplomat loses his career and is reduced to caddying at a golf resort, he kidnaps an arrogant American businessman in a misguided attempt to buy his old life back, unprepared for the battle of wills that ensues.
Cuando un ambicioso y joven diplomático mexicano pierde su carrera y tiene que trabajar de caddy en un club de golf, secuestra a un empresario norteamericano arrogante en un intento fallido para comprar de regreso su vida, aunque está poco preparado para la batalla que se le avecina.
Director: GABRIEL BERISTAIN
Born in Mexico. Gabriel worked as a documentary and newsreel cameraman throughout Europe, covering sensitive political, social and ecological issues. The Berlin Film Festival honored him in 1987 with a Silver Bear for the cinematography in Derek Jarman’s Caravaggio. Cinematographer credits amount to dozens of motion pictures and TV shows and a hundred commercials and music videos, culminating in serving as Director of Photography for Marvel’s Black Widow. Member of the AMPAS and the DGA.
Nació en México. Trabajó en Europa como camarógrafo de noticieros y documentales, cubriendo temas políticos, sociales y ambientalistas. El Festival de Berlín lo premió en 1987 con el Oso de Plata por la cinematografía de Caravaggio, de Derek Jarman. Entre sus créditos como cinematógrafo se encuentran docenas de películas, programas de TV y cientos de comerciales y videos musicales, y ha culminado su trabajo como director de fotografía de Viuda negra, de Marvel. Es miembro de la AMPAS y del DGA.
