Synopsis
On the border between the real and the fantastic, between the colonial past and the overwhelming modernity of agribusiness, the city of Goiás is the scene of the meeting between the young Fernanda and her secret roots. She returns to the home of her wealthy uncle, after the death of her adoptive mother, in order to implode the certainties and to reveal the painful truth about its origin. Andres Rodríguez
En la frontera entre lo real y lo fantástico, entre el pasado colonial y la abrumadora modernidad de la agroindustria, la ciudad de Goiás es el escenario del encuentro entre Fernanda y sus raíces secretas. Flávia was born in Goiânia in 1982. She studied Film and Literature at UFF (RJ), script and the Meisner method at EICTV and also took photography classes with A. Barbosa (VGIK) and sound with D. Deshays (FEMIS). Her first feature film, developed with the advice of Lucrecia Martel, “Fogareu” was financed by ANCINE (BR) and CNC (FR). She wrote and directed the TV series “Amanajé, o mensageiro do futuro” (13×26´) and also the fiction short films, “Liberdade” (1998) and “Sangue Carioca” (2007).
Flávia nació en Goiânia en 1982. Estudió Cine y Literatura en la UFF (RJ), guion y el método Meisner en la EICTV y también tomó clases de fotografía con A. Barbosa (VGIK) y sonido con D. Deshays (FEMIS). Su primer largometraje, desarrollado con la asesoría de Lucrecia Martel, “Fogaréu” fue financiado por ANCINE (BR) y CNC (FR). Escribió y dirigió la serie de televisión”Amanajé, o mensageiro do futuro” (13×26´) y también los cortometrajes de ficción “Liberdade” (1998) y “Sangue Carioca” (2007).
