Fire within the sky
Synopsis
In the Purépecha community of Paracho, the Hernández family meets from time to time to build huge flying balloons in which they leave weeks of work, with the sole purpose that together they can release the bad emotions that they carry over time.
En la comunidad purépecha de Paracho, la familia Hernández se reúne cada cierto tiempo a construir enormes globos voladores en los que dejan semanas de trabajo, con la única finalidad de que puedan juntos liberar las malas emociones que van cargando con el paso del tiempo.

His work has been presented at film shows and festivals such as FICM, GIFF, DocsMX, Festival de Toulouse, DOK Leipzig, Camerimage, Hot Docs and in the Cannes Critics’ Week program, among others. In 2019 he participated in the Berlinale Talents of the 69th Berlin Film Festival for his work as director of photography.
Su trabajo se ha presentado en muestras y festivales de cine como el FICM, GIFF, DocsMX, Festival de Toulouse, DOK Leipzig, Camerimage, Hot Docs y en el programa de la Semana de la Crítica de Cannes, entre otros. En 2019 participó en el Berlinale Talents del 69° Festival de Berlín por su trabajo como director de fotografía.
